Cheat mode
Press [A], [C], [A], [C], [A], [C], [A], [C], [B]x4 at the options screen. Cheat options such as level select, invincibility, and "freezability" (press [Start] to pause) will appear.

Level skip
Pause game play and press [A], [B]x2, [A]x2, [B]x2, [A]. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Alternately, pause game play and press [A], [B]x2, [A], [B]x2, [A], [B]x2, [A]x2, [B]x2, [A], [B]x2. A sound will confirm correct entry.

Press or hold [Up], then press the sword button ([A], [B], [C]) for the Quadruple Slash.

Bonus levels: Vanishing pots
For the bonus levels, such as where Abu is in the village and the falling pots must be avoided while trying to gain gems, if you see that a pot is in your direct path and you have no way of moving in time, swing your sword to slice the pot before it gets to you. In rare cases, if you pause game play at the exact moment it hits you, as soon as the game is resumed, swing your sword, and it will vanish.

Desert level: Extra lives
When you are in the Desert level and you pass the clothes line with the bikini top and the boxer shorts, move Aladdin around a couple of times. Make sure that his head is directly under the bikini top. You will hear a sound and get an extra life.

Start the Desert level by walking to the right, but stop when you get to the second tree. Turn around, and walk all the way back to the beginning, or where you started from. Keep walking until the game will not let you go any further, and you will get an extra life.

At the beginning of the Desert level (level 2), there are four apples lined up in the shape of a diamond. Walk forward until the apples are out of view. Then, walk back to the four apples. There should be an extra life in the middle of the apples. If this does not work the first time, try it again.
