Unlocking other Playable Characters
By default, you start out with Ichigo, Rukia, Orihime, Chad, and Ishida. However, by completing missions in Mission Mode, you can gain points (displayed at the top-right corner of the screen), which allows you to unlock the extra playable characters. Once you have enough points, the characters are automatically unlocked. Unlockable chracters are as follows:
Abarai Renji - 03 Points
Aizen Sousuke - 70 Points
Hinamori Momo - 09 Points
Hitsugaya Toushiro - 15 Points
Ichimaru Gin - 45 Points
Kaname Tousen - 40 Points
Kon - 65 Points
