Hold [L] + [R] + [Start] at the title screen.

Press [A] + [C] + [X] + [Z] to pause game play. Then press [L] or [R] to select a new weapon.

Press [A] + [C] + [X] + [Z] to pause game play. Then press [Left] or [Right] to select a new weapon.
