ammo, special features in main menu
Press [Select] during game play, then highlight the Timex-TMX at the inventory screen. Then hold [L1] + [L2] + [R1] + [R2] + [Down] + [Circle] and press [Triangle] to exit the inventory screen. Re-enter the inventory to access to extra items. Quit the level to find the "Special Features" option at the main menu, which features an FMV sequence of the next Tomb Raider game on the PlayStation2. The effects of this code will be temporary unless you have "Saved" in inventory. Note: In the PAL version of the game, highlight the Timex-TMX at the inventory screen. Then hold [L1] + [L2] + [R1] + [R2] and press [Down].

All items, all weapons, but not level items
Press [Select] during game play, then highlight the Timex-TMX at the inventory screen. Then hold [L1] + [L2] + [R1] + [R2] and press [Up], [Triangle].

Alternately, press [Select] during game play, then highligt the small health pack at the inventory screen. Then, press [Up] + [L1] + [L2] + [R1] + [R2]. Both health packs should turn unlimited. Exit the menu and re-enter it. You should now have all weapons and unlimited ammunition.

All level items
Press [Select] during game play, then highlight the Timex-TMX at the inventory screen. Then hold [L1] + [L2] + [R1] + [R2] and press [Down], [Triangle].

Unlimited items, but not level items
Press [Select] during game play, then highlight the Timex-TMX at the inventory screen. Then hold [L1] + [L2] + [R1] + [Up] + [Circle] and press [Triangle] to exit the inventory screen. Level skip
Highlight the "New Game" option at the main menu, then hold [L1] and press [X].

View FMV sequences (PAL version)
Press [R2] + [Select] at the main menu.

Black Isle level
Highlight the "New Game" option at the main menu, then hold [Up] + [L2] and press [X].

Russian Base level
Highlight the "New Game" option at the main menu, then hold [Up] + [L1] and press [X].

Tower Block level
Highlight the "New Game" option at the main menu, then hold [Up] + [R1] and press [X].

Rome level
Highlight the "New Game" option at the main menu, then hold [Up] + [R2] and press [X].

Quick flare
Press [Select] + [R1] or [R2] while Lara does not have a weapon held to use a flare without entering the inventory screen.

Do a handstand
To do a handstand when you climb an object, hold "Walk" as you climb.

Do a somersault
To do a somersault, crawl to the very edge of a platform or ledge. While holding "Crawl", press [Jump]. Lara will somersault into the area below. This is better than having to turn around and climb down while getting out of a tunnel. This is also useful when getting into the water mill in the "Old Mill" level.

Flip in the air
Instead of jumping forward or backward and pressing "Roll" immediately, press the opposite direction. For example, if you jump forward, immediately press [Down] and Lara will do a flip in the air. Do the opposite if you jump backwards.

Snap Lara's neck
Do a somersault jump ([Jump] while pressing "Walk" forward) from a high place. A good place to try this is in the very first Streets of Rome level, when you are above the awning. If you attempt to do a somersault jump from above onto the awning, she will dive head first and snap her neck when she lands on the awning, causing the game to end.
