Defeating D Mob
The easiest way to defeat himis by submission. Throw
him against the ropes and walk slowly to him. As he bounces back,
get him in a head hold. It takes about eight attempts of these
to make D Mob submit. After his head health meter is empty, you
must repeat the tactic two more times.
Keep doing grapple attacks until your momentum meter is up to
Blazin mode. Then, go in the ring and when he is on the ground,
go to the ropes and jump at him. You will eventually have him
kept in danger on health and can do one final Blazin mode attack
to defeat him.
Defeating Pockets, House, and Snowman
When you fight Pockets, House, and Snowman, beat on
one of them. Then, run away and work on one opponent at a time.
When one of them is in danger, use your Blazin against him and
you will automatically K.O. that person and win the match. Remember,
keep running.
In story mode, you are ambushed by House, Pockets, and Snowman.
You have to fight all three of them at once, and the only way
to win is to make them submit or knock them out. The best way
to win is to focus on one of the three. To do this, you have to
be quick on him. Take every opportunity to throw him down and
put him in submission. One of the other two will break it; repeat
as necessary. Build up the Blazin' bar and hit him with your special.
Remember, these three work as a team. The two that you have been
ignoring will try to hold you down until the other recovers. Keep
that one opponent in the danger area as long as you can. You may
need to work on the other two to build up the Blazin' bar and
to keep them at low health. Follow these steps to eventually win.
Keep working on Pockets. When in danger, get Blazin' on him and
it will be a K.O.
When you are fighting them, only go after Pockets as he is the
smallest person there.
When fighting them, select one person -- it does not matter which.
Then, stay out of the ring. Next, do your strongest move on the
person you selected and try to submit him. Do not worry about
the other two. They will stop you, but sometimes they will not.
You can also do the move were you make them run (Irish Whip).
Do that so he is away from the other two. Then, chase him and
while you are running towards him, do your [Square] move
when you get close enough. It should knock him down. Then, do
your submit move. Keep doing that and you should submit him and
win.
Blazin moves
Every character has two Blazin moves. To perform their
second Blazin move, move to the back side of your opponent, grapple,
and move the Right Analog-stick. Sometimes this is more
effective then their regular Blazin. For example, DMX's Blazin
from behind the opponent is where he breaks their arms and snaps
their neck.
To do any of the characters' special moves, while you are in Blazin
mode, grapple your opponent and move Right Analog-stick
[Up] or Right Analog-stick [Down]. They all have
two finishing moves (grappled from the front or grappled from
the back).
DMX: Combos
Junkyard Dog: Do a Weak Rear Grapple, then press [Square]x2,
[Circle].
What's My Name: Do a combo strike ([Square] + [X]),
then Hard Strike ([Square] + move toward opponent), and Hard
Grapple ([Square] + [Down]).
Doggy Style: Press [Square] + [Circle], then press [Up]
when next to your opponent.
Ludacris: Faster special
When you are Ludacris in Club Luda, taunt and his special
meter always goes up a lot.
Method Man combos
Boxing Buffs: Press [Circle], [Down], do a Hard Strike
([Square] + [Circle]), then press [Up].
Flip o Rama: Go to the turnbuckle, then press [Up] + [Square].
Then he will do a back flip, which you have press [X].
Spider combos
Window Maker: Soft Corner Grapple then press [X], Ground
Strike, Ground Strike.
Web Spinner: Hard Grapple and press [Up] + [Square],
then Leg Submission.
Shot of Venom: Hard Strike +[Square], Irish Whip Hard Grapple
Direction + [X].
Briggs combos
Dishonorable Discharge: Hard Strike Direction + [Square],
then Hard Grapple and [Left] + [X], then Head Submission.
War Cry: Soft Grapple + [Square], then Leg Submission.
Friendly Fire: Running Strike and press [Square] + [X]
together, then Ground Strike.
Easy knock out
Find your most powerful move and use that a couple
times, followed by a couple different moves, then your most powerful
move, and repeat until your opponent is in danger. Get a Blazin,
then use it against your opponent for a easy knock out.
Press [Triangle] by the ropes to get outside the ring. Fight
outside the ring and slam your opponent a few times. When your
opponent is weak, use your Blazin move to knock him out. Because
you are outside the ring, it will be easier for him to knock you
out as well.
The easiest way to score a quick K.O. in under five minutes (unless
fighting someone like WC or Scarface) is by submission techniques.
Start the match by slamming your opponent against the mat. While
they are down, perform a mat grapple. This not only causes limb
damage, but it quickly lowers health and raises momentum. Repeat
this until your opponent's health is in the danger zone. Once
your opponent's health is in the danger zone, perform a two or
three three taunts, if not already in Blazin mode. Once in Blazin
mode and opponent's health is past danger, perform your character's
Blazin attack. If your opponent is big, like Arii or Scarface,
or if you are in a tag team or three to one match, it will take
more than five to ten minutes.
Easy submission
Grapple an opponent then keep on getting them in submissions.
When their head, leg, or arm health runs out, you will automatically
win.
Easy tag team or handicap matches
If you grapple your opponent, press [L1] to turn
them around. You may be able to press either [Circle] or
[Triangle]. [Circle] will lead to you locking the opponents
arms with yours for your partner to strike them. [Triangle]
will lead to you picking up your opponent onto your shoulders
for your partner to strike from the top ropes. However, if your
opponent has a lot of health, you will most likely drop backwards
when trying to pick them up.
Grappling
Grapple moves to the head, body, arms or legs are accounted
for when going for submission. You will see that the bar depending
on which of the four you attack will decrease with every grapple
attack.
Keep opponent's momentum down
When wrestling an opponent, you may sometimes pull
off a move with an accompanying pin (for example, the Illicit
Package, etc.). If you pull off one of these moves for damage
alone, and definitely know the opponent will kick out, make sure
to release the pin yourself ([R1]) before they can kick out.
Kick-outs, as well as rope breaks, will give the victim a decent-sized
momentum boost. However, if the attacker chooses to willfully
release the hold, it is recognized as an act of mercy and thus
no momentum boost is given to the victim.
Easy money
Go to the battle screen and choose "1 on 1".
Have two controllers in the ports and press [Start] on both
of them. Fight nobody and win. Do this repeatedly to gain lots
of money.
Use D-Mob in survival mode, because of his attention towards his
opponents head. He has a walloping series of moves to the head
from submission to grapple.
Play against N.O.R.E in story mode and defeat him. That fight
will give you at least $22,000. Right next to that fight, you
can fight with the girls, but you do not have to. Quit that fight
and when you play story mode again, you will go against N.O.R.E,
instead of the girls fight. Do this repeatedly to win about $100,000
after defeating N.O.R.E five times.
Go to survival mode and win it undefeated a few times. You will
get about $25,000 each time you win with an undefeated record.
Spider works the best for this technique. Have two controllers
and choose battle mode, then 1 on 1. Choose Spider as player one
and anyone else as player two. Points for moves will decrease
if used repeatedly, though they will give you the same amount
of points if you use five different moves in between them. The
fastest way to earn points is start off with soft grapple corner
move, then a hard grapple corner move, then while they are down,
jump off the turnbuckle, then hard grapple ([Left] + [X]),
hard grapple ([Left] + [Square]), soft grapple ([Square]),
soft grapple ([Up] + [Square]), soft grapple ([Down]
+ [Square]), soft grapple ([Left] + [Square]),
rear soft grapple ([X]), hard grapple ([Left] + [X]),
and hard grapple ([Left] + [Square]). Repeat this as
many times as desired, although it is the most time efficient
if you do this once, use your finisher, then repeat from the top.
Avoid losing
When your opponent has Blazin, or if your fighter is
completely out of health, to avoid being knocked out or pinned,
get out of the ring quickly and run around until his Blazin is
gone or you have enough health to live on. Note: When you are
running around, your opponent's momentum also decreases.
Skills
In story mode, before you go up against a challenging
opponent, fight many battles in battle mode to earn money for
better player attributes. This is very helpful when going up against
Snowman, Pockets, and House.
If you already have an I.D. name, choose battle or survival mode
at the main menu. Select your I.D. name and pick a fighter. When
you win, you will get money. Then, go to story mode and pick your
I.D. name. Select the button to put your stats up, and the money
you won from the battle will be there. Do this enough and you
will have full stats at the beginning of your story mode.
Go to one player and collect money. Then go to another person
and collect that money and use it on another person.
Recommended characters
The best character to start off the game is Spider,
because of his strength and defense. He is also an excellent submissionist,
which is useful when you are facing someone fast such as Ludacris,
and someone with charisma such as N.O.R.E. and the 3 on 1 handicap
match you will have later. The recommended characters from best
to worse are Spider, Briggs, Tank, and Proof.
The easiest way to complete the game is with Briggs. As you get
money, put most of it on Power, Defense, and Grapple. This is
the easiest way to make people lose health quickly. With Briggs,
the best way to knockout an opponent is to use his Blazin move
from the behind.
When playing survival mode, choose WC. He is a great person to
use because of his power and defense. After you select him and
when you are fighting, just use his strong attacks. Pick your
opponent up and do another one. After about five chokeslams and
three pile drivers, he will be ready for Blazin mode. Go behind
your opponent and use his Blazin move there. Your opponent will
be K.O.ed. Keep repeating this strategy, and after ten matches
you will have about $30,000 to spend.
