Street Fighter 2 Cheats - Sega Genesis
Primary Collection of Cheats
Special attacks only
Press [Down], [Z], [Up], [X], [Z], [Y], [B], [C] on a six-button controller at the Capcom logo. Alternatively, press [Down], [C], [Up], [A]x2, [B]x2, [C] on a standard controller at the Capcom logo. When game play begins, you will only be able to use special attacks. Normal punches and kicks will not work.
Fight as same character
Press [Down], [C], [Up], [A]x2, [B]x2, [C] at the battle mode selection screen that allows either match play or elimination rules to be enabled. Alternatively, use a six-button controller and press [Down], [Z], [Up], [X], [A], [Y], [B], [C] on controller two at the battle mode selection screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. The same character may be selected more than one time.
Turbo champion mode
Press [Down], [C], [Up], [A]x2, [B]x2, [C] when the buildings in the background at the start of the introduction sequence fades. Alternatively, use a six-button controller and press [Down], [Z], [Up], [X], [A], [B], [C] at the Street Fighter 2 logo.
Controller configuration
Go to the character selection screen and pick your fighters for a one player or two player game. After selecting your characters, hold [Start]. When you fly onto the stage, a controller configuration screen will appear.
Alternate costumes
Press [Start] at the character selection screen to choose a fighter.
Game credits
Successfully complete the game under the highest difficulty setting to view the complete game credits.
Balrog's Charge Punch
Go to the options screen and configure your controller so that only one [Punch] button is active. When fighting as Balrog, you only have to charge one button to do his turn punch.
Hidden ending animation
Successfully complete the game in one player mode under a difficulty setting of at least four stars.
Level skip
Press [Start] on controller two when you are about to fight the first opponent in a one player game. The message "A New Challenger Is Approaching!" will appear. Have player two choose the character that you would have fought. Defeat him and the game it will count the victory as if you defeated the CPU. This can be repeated throughout the entire game.
Perfects
If you get a perfect on a normal player (or Bosses on the updates) you will get 30,000 points. If you get a perfect on the CPU Boss, you will get 50,000 points. If you get a perfect on M. Bison (CPU) you will get 80,000 points.
